A black velvet painting of U.S. President Barack Obama hangs at the Velveteria: The Museum of Velvet Paintings as Nathaniel Canfield and Suzzanne Lohr, from Washington D.C. view pieces in Portland, Oregon June 24, 2009. The museum was started by Carl Baldwin and Caren Anderson in 2005 when a passion to collect the art form led to the creation of the showplace which now houses more than 350 pieces out of about 2000 velvet paintings in their total collection.
