An original oil painting of Barack Obama which was part of a Richeson 75 International Art Exhibit and is now available as prints and greeting cards. This painting was one of two done at the request of a client.
About Lee:
Lee Mitchelson has been a professional artist since 1978 with art in the collections of notables including Ben Stein, William Shatner, Ellen Degeneres, The Estate of James A. Michener, Buffy E.I. DuPont, Rudolf Martin and so many more!
Lee is a member of the prestigious Oil Painters of America and was among the first charter membership of The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C. Her original paintings are represented by Goldenstein Gallery, in Sedona. Her art has been seen in The White House and is in the permanent collection of The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
An avid horsewoman and animal rescue supporter who also has a private sanctuary for companion animals, exotic birds and horses, Lee contributes to animal welfare from all her art proceeds.
